روز جهانی 2020 برای ایمنی و بهداشت  در  محیط کار  بر خشونت و آزار و اذیت در دنیای کار تمرکز خواهد کرد
خشونت و آزار و اذیت در محیط کار تهدیدی مهم و مستمر برای سلامتی و ایمنی کارگران و همچنین بهره‌وری و شهرت سازمانی است.
در ژوئن سال 2019، در کنفرانس صد ساله سازمان بین‌المللی کار، کنوانسیون خشونت و آزار و اذیت (شماره 190) و توصیه همراه آن (شماره 206) به تصویب رسید که خواستار منع و جلوگیری از خشونت و آزار و اذیت در دنیای کار بود.
به عنوان بخشی از روز جهانی ایمنی و بهداشت در محیط کار 2020، سازمان بین‌المللی کار گزارشی جهانی را تهیه می‌کند، و برجسته می‌کند(highlighting) که چگونه یک چارچوب جامع OSH در سطح ملی و محل کار می‌تواند خشونت و آزار و اذیت در جهان کار را برطرف کند.

The 2020 World Day for safety and health at work will focus on violence and harassment in the world of work

Workplace violence and harassment is a significant and ongoing threat to worker health and safety, as well as to organizational productivity and reputation. In June 2019, at the Centenary Conference of the ILO, the Violence and Harassment Convention (No. 190) and its accompanying Recommendation (No. 206) were adopted, calling for the prohibition and prevention of violence and harassment in the world of work

As part of the 2020 World Day for safety and health at work campaign, the ILO will produce a global report, highlighting how a comprehensive OSH framework at both national and workplace level could address violence and harassment in the world of work

This includes for example incorporating provisions related to violence and harassment into OSH laws, regulations and collective agreements and developing specific standards, code of practices and guidelines to support the implementation of programmes and preventive measures in the workplaces. At the workplace level, sound OSH management systems can include the assessment and control of psychosocial risks including the interplay with violence and harassment

Other materials will be produced and made available on line, including a poster, a pamphlet with key messages, and a PPT presentation
